VI.2) Approval Re: Authorize the Mayor and City Auditor and Clerk to execute the Agreement between the City of Sarasota and Waterfield Florida Staffing LLC ( Bid No. 21-40 TS) for School Crossing Guard Services for an estimated amount of $126,677.00 per year
VI.3) Approval Re: Authorize the Mayor and City Auditor and Clerk to execute the Agreement between the City of Sarasota and Florida Department of Environmental Protection (Agreement No, 22ST2) for New Pass Inlet Management Study in the amount of $74,970.00
VII) CONSENT AGENDA NO. 2:
VII.1) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 21R-3016, relating to the acquisition, construction and funding of Capital Improvements associated with a new public parking garage on St. Armands Key; being the annual assessment Resolution approving the assessment roll for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2021 and confirming the applicable portion of the cost of the improvements to be paid by assessments; imposing assessments upon all tax parcels described in the assessment roll; directing certification of the assessment roll to the Sarasota County Tax Collector; providing for severability, etc. (Title Only)
VII.2) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 21R-3036, amending the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020 by providing for supplemental appropriations in the amounts identified in Exhibit A; providing for severability if any of the parts hereof are declared invalid, etc. (Title Only) to establish a revenue and expenditure budget for the Florida Bicycle Pedestrian Focused Initiative: High Visibility Enforcement Grant of $14,679.00 with no required matching funds. This grant will reimburse Police Officer's overtime and associated benefits
VII.3) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 21R-3037, amending the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020 by providing for supplemental appropriations in the amounts identified in Exhibit A; providing for severability if any of the parts hereof are declared invalid, etc. (Title Only) to establish a transfer of $195,000.00 from the Parks and Recreation District to the Municipal Auditorium to subsidize projected shortfalls in revenue for fiscal year end 2020-2021. This item will increase the budget in the amount of $195,000.00
VII.4) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 21R-3038, amending the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020 by providing for supplemental appropriations in the amounts identified in Exhibit A; providing for severability if any of the parts hereof are declared invalid, etc. (Title Only) to establish an expenditure budget of $50,000.00 from the Tree Replacement Fund for the Mature Tree Program. This item will increase the budget in the amount of $50,000.00
VII.5) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 21R-3039, amending the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020 by providing for supplemental appropriations in the amounts identified in Exhibit A; providing for severability if any of the parts hereof are declared invalid, etc. (Title Only) to establish a revenue and expenditure budget of $19,200.00 from the Special Law Enforcement Trust Fund to donate to qualified organizations per Florida Statute 732.7055(5). This item will increase the budget in the amount of $19,200.00
VII.6) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 21R-3040, amending the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020 by providing for supplemental appropriations in the amounts identified in Exhibit A; providing for severability if any of the parts hereof are declared invalid, etc. (Title Only) to reallocate $100,000.00 from the Community Redevelopment Agency Fund Small Business Grant Project to Janie's Garden Build-Out Project. This item will not increase the budget
VII.7) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 21R-3041, amending the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2020 by providing for supplemental appropriations in the amounts identified in Exhibit A; providing for severability if any of the parts hereof are declared invalid, etc. (Title Only) to reallocate $86,600.00 from the Community Redevelopment Agency Fund Newtown Small Business Grant Project to Janie's Garden Build-Out Project. This item will not increase the budget
VII.8) Adoption Re: Second Reading of Proposed Ordinance No. 21-5375, to rezone that certain approximately 20,470 +/- square-foot parcel of real property located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Hansen Street and Sunshine Avenue with a street address of 1625 Hansen Street from the Residential Single Family-1 (RSF-1) Zone District to the Residential Single Family-2 (RSF-2) Zone District; all as more particularly set forth herein, etc. (Title Only)(Application No. 21-REN-03, Applicant Bruce E. VII.11) Adoption Re: Second Reading of Proposed Ordinance No. 21-5378, amending the Code of the City of Sarasota, Chapter 22, Parks and Recreation, regarding Park Closing Times and Park Rules; providing for uniform closing times for city parks with limited exceptions; providing authority for Administrative Rules to be applied within parks when approved by the City Manager; providing for the repeal of Ordinances in conflict, etc. (Title Only)
