The recognition is presented by the Military Order of the Purple Heart, USA, named after the nation's oldest military medal that honors and remembers military personnel wounded or killed in combat with hostile forces. (THIS ITEM WAS ADDED UNDER CHANGES TO THE ORDER OF THE DAY)
