VI.4) Approval Re: Authorize the Mayor and City Auditor and Clerk to execute the Agreements between the City of Sarasota and Insituform Technologies LLC, Ric-Man Construction Florida Inc., and Miller Pipeline LLC (Bid No. 21-50CM) for City Wide Sanitary Sewer Main Lining and Rehabilitation Services with an annual total estimated cost of $1,850,000.00
VII) CONSENT AGENDA NO. 2:
VII.1) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 22R-3068, amending the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2021 by providing for supplemental appropriations in the amounts identified in exhibit A: providing for severability if any of the parts hereof are declared invalid, etc. (Title Only) to establish a revenue and expenditure budget of $71,000.00 from the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Grant Fund for a Work Zone Safety Subcontract Agreement grant award. There is no matching funds required for this grant
VII.2) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 22R-3070, requesting the State of Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) to modify the light display on the Ringling Causeway Bridge on the Bridge Light Days identified herein, etc. (Title Only)
VII.3) Adoption Re: Second Reading of Proposed Ordinance No. 21-5351, amending the Sarasota City Code Chapter 10, Beaches and Waterways, Article II, Boating, Division 1, General Regulations, Section 10-20 to update Definitions; amending Division 3, Mooring and Anchoring, to prohibit the mooring and anchoring of liveaboard vessels, floating structures, and commercial vessels, excluding commercial fishing vessels, outside the marked boundaries of a properly permitted mooring field unless within a public or private marina; providing for the severability of the parts hereof if declared invalid or unenforceable, etc. (Title Only)
VII.4) Adoption Re: Second Reading of Proposed Ordinance No. 22-5392, amending the Sarasota City Code, Chapter 34.5, Vacation Rentals, to delete references to required affidavits and to substitute written declarations which can be submitted on line without notarization; to delete general references to the Florida Building Code; Fire Prevention Code and Residential Swimming Pool Safety Act and to substitute specifically enumerated items that are subject to inspection; to delete the requirement that the legal description of property be submitted with an application for registration and to substitute the parcel identification number; to delete the requirement that advertising of a vacation rental shall display the State Transient Lodging License Number and substitute the City of Sarasota Vacation Rental Certificate of Registration Number; all as more fully specified herein; providing for the severability of the parts hereof, etc. (Title Only)
VII.5) Adoption Re: Second Reading of Proposed Ordinance No. 22-5394, amending and restating Article IV, of Chapter 32, of the Sarasota City Code, which establishes a process for consideration of applications for an exemption from certain Ad Valorem Taxation for new businesses and expansions of existing businesses as approved at referendum; providing for additional definitions; providing for updated eligibility criteria; providing for an updated sunset date, etc. (Title Only)
