X) LEGISLATIVE PUBLIC HEARINGS:
X.1) Public Hearing Re: Proposed Ordinance No. 22-5454, amending the Future Land Use Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sarasota [aka The Sarasota City Plan (2030)] to change the Future Land Use Map Classification of that certain parcel of real property totaling approximately 6.09 +/- acres bounded by Bahia Vista Street on the north, Tuttle Avenue on the east, Prospect Street on the south, and South Briggs Avenue on the west, with a street address of 2750 Bahia Vista Street, from the Multiple Family-Medium Density Future Land Use Map Classification to the Multiple Family - High Density Future Land Use Map Classification, in accordance with Comprehensive Plan Amendment Application No. 21-PA-03; amending the text of the Future Land Use Chapter by adding a new site specific action strategy 1.10 (7) to limit the land use to a maximum of 250 dwelling units on the property; repealing Ordinances in conflict; providing for the severability of the parts hereof, etc. (Title Only) (Application No. 21-PA-03, Applicant: Joel Freedman, AICP, of Freedman Consulting & Development, LLC as agent representing Bahia Vista Associates, LLLP, as fee simple owners)

XI.1) Public Hearing Re: Proposed Ordinance No. 23-5458, amending Rezone Ordinance No. 12-4995 which, pursuant to Application No. 11-RE-02 rezoned that certain approximately 16.5 +/- acre parcel of real property abutting the southern right of way line of Desoto Road and the eastern right of way line of the Seaboard Air Line Railway right of way, with a street address of 1400 Desoto Road, from the Sarasota County Residential Multiple Family-2 (RMF-2) and Sarasota County Commercial Intensive (CI) Zone Districts to the City of Sarasota Residential Multiple Family - 4 (RMF-4) Zone District so as to amend proferred Site Plan Application No. 11-SP-07 which allowed construction of up to 280 residential dwelling units with a community building of up to 2,335 square feet plus off-street parking so as to allow construction of an up to 280 unit multi-family development with associated amenities such as club house, community swimming pool and outdoor spaces plus off-street parking; all as more particularly set forth herein, etc. (Title Only) (Application Nos. 22-ROA-03 and 22-SP-11) (Applicant Stephen D.
