IX.3) Approval Re: Proposed New Performing Arts Center Implementation Agreement per the requirements of the Agreement between the City of Sarasota and the Performing Arts Center, Inc.
X) LEGISLATIVE PUBLIC HEARINGS:
X.1) Public Hearing Re: Proposed Resolution No. 24R-3278, authorizing transmittal of proposed Comprehensive Plan Amendment Application No. 24-PA-01 to the State Reviewing Agencies for review and comment; said application being a request for amendments to the Future Land Use Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sarasota [A/K/A the Sarasota City Plan], to create an Historic Preservation Transfer of Development Rights Program by adding a new Action Strategy 2.16, Historic Preservation Transfer of Development Rights Program; adding a new definition of Historic Preservation Transfer of Development Rights or TDR Program; and revising text in the Summary of Classifications Table and the Mixed Residential, Urban Neighborhood, Urban Edge, Downtown Core, and Downtown Bayfront Future Land Use Classifications to identify Sending and/or Receiving Zones; the area of the proposed Historic Preservation Transfer Development of Rights Program is limited to downtown Sarasota and is 1,221 +/- acres, more or less, etc. (Title Only) (Application No. 24-PA-01, Applicant: City of Sarasota)
X.2) Public Hearing Re: Proposed Ordinance No. 24-5549, amending the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sarasota [The Sarasota City Plan], Future Land Use Chapter, to revise the text of Subsection (4) of Action Strategy 1.10, Site Specific Limitations, to be consistent with current policy in regard to the time period for affordability and timing of tenant income monitoring reports for attainable dwellings units by extending the affordability period from fifteen years to thirty years and by removing quarterly verification reporting requirements, all for the real property located at 300 and 508 Audubon Place, as well as 2211 Fruitville Road; and to address which site specific limitations would apply in the event the property owner pursues development upon the property pursuant to the Live Local Act; repealing ordinances in conflict; providing for severability of the parts hereof, etc. (Title Only) (Application No. 23-PA-02, Applicant: City of Sarasota)
X.3) Public Hearing Re: Proposed Ordinance No. 24-5550, amending the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sarasota [The Sarasota City Plan], Future Land Use Chapter, to revise text in the Metropolitan Regional Future Land Use Classification Site No. 9, Regional Shopping Center, by adding development consisting of retail, office, residential, mixed-use development and/or support facilities associated with mixed-use development accompanied by an amendment to Action Strategy 1.10, Site Specific Limitations, to add thereto a new Subsection (8) to memorialize the applicant's proffer that ten percent (10%) of the residential dwelling units constructed on the site will be designated as attainable housing units, all for the real property located at 3501 S.
