VI.3) Approval Re: Authorize the Mayor and City Auditor and Clerk to execute the Memo of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Sarasota and the International Union of Police Association, Local #6045, AFL-CIO (Officers, Sergeants and Crime Scene Investigators) for agreed upon Articles 7-Base Rate of Pay and Article 23-Promotional Process
VI.4) Approval Re: Authorize the Mayor and the City Auditor and Clerk to execute the First Extension of Agreement for Parts Room Integrated Management Services (RFP 19-41BK) between the City of Sarasota and Genuine Parts Company d/b/a Napa Auto Parts. The City has spent $6,417,715.46 with Napa Auto Parts since the initial commencement of this Agreement
VI.5) Approval Re: Authorize the Mayor and City Auditor and Clerk to execute the Agreement between the City of Sarasota and Risk Management Associates Inc., d/b/a Brown & Brown Public Sector (RFP #24-48HR) pertaining to Actuarial and Insurance Broker Services beginning January 1, 2025 for an administrative cost in the amount of $70,800.00 per year
VI.6) Approval Re: Authorize the Mayor and City Auditor and Clerk to execute the Contract Agreement between the City of Sarasota and Passport Labs (RFP 24-52HR), for Consolidated Parking Enforcement and Management Solution. The term of the contract is for three (3) years with a contract price of $1,476,000.00
VI.7) Approval Re: Authorize the Mayor and the City Auditor and Clerk to execute the Agreement for Professional Services between the City of Sarasota and Flock Group, Inc. for a real-time operating system at a contract total in the amount of $339,250.00
VI.8) Approval Re: Authorize the Mayor and the City Auditor and Clerk to execute the Agreement between the City of Sarasota and Dana Safety Supply, Inc., for Emergency Lighting and Public Safety Equipment; The Sarasota Police Department spent roughly in the amount of $374,000.00 with Dana Safety Supply, Inc. during FY 2024

VII.1) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 25R-3304, amending the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2024 by providing for supplemental appropriations in the amounts identified in exhibit A: providing for severability if any of the parts hereof are declared invalid, etc. (Title Only). To establish an expenditure budget in the amount of $100,000.00 within the Equipment Replacement Fund for replacement of expiring bomb suits
VII.2) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 25R-3305, amending the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2024 by providing for supplemental appropriations in the amounts identified in exhibit A: providing for severability if any of the parts hereof are declared invalid, etc. (Title Only). To establish an expenditure budget in the amount of $530,082.00 within the Economic Development Fund for the fourth year of the Trolley Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) grant
VII.3) Adoption Re: Proposed Resolution No. 25R-3306, amending the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2024 by providing for supplemental appropriations in the amounts identified in exhibit A: providing for severability if any of the parts hereof are declared invalid, etc. (Title Only). To establish an expenditure budget in the amount of $449,686.46 within the HOME Fund for additional Home Investment Partnership program income received
VII.4) Adoption Re: Second Reading of Proposed Ordinance No. 25-5553, amending the Future Land Use Chapter of the Comprehensive Plan of the City of Sarasota [aka The Sarasota City Plan] to change the Future Land Use Map Classification of an approximately 1.19 +/- acre parcel of real property located west of unimproved N. Shade Avenue, south of 6th Street and north of Aspinwall Street from the Urban Neighborhood Future Land Use Map Classification to the Urban Edge Future Land Use Map Classification, in accordance with Comprehensive Plan Amendment Application No. 23-PA-03; repealing ordinances in conflict; providing for the severability of the parts hereof, etc. (Title Only)
VII.5) Adoption Re: Second Reading of Proposed Ordinance No. 25-5554, to rezone that certain vacant parcel of real property totaling approximately 1.19 +/acres located west of unimproved N. Shade Avenue, south of 6th Street, and North of Aspinwall Street from the Downtown Neighborhood (DTN) Zone District to the Downtown Neighborhood Edge (DTNE) Zone District; all as more particularly set forth herein, etc. (Title Only) (Application No. 24-REN-03, Applicant Michael Halflants of Halflants & Pichette Studio for Modern Architecture, Inc., as agent representing Sergey Savchuk, fee simple owner)
