IX.1) Adoption Re: Second Reading of Proposed Ordinance No. 20-5326, to vacate two sections of the platted 50-foot wide Seed Avenue Right of Way with one certain section commencing at its intersection with the northerly right of way line of Margaret Street northward for a distance of approximately 88.91 +/- feet and with the second certain section commencing with its intersection with the northerly right of way line of 10th Street northward for a distance of approximately 177.99 +/- feet to the southerly right of way line of Margaret Street with the two sections being adjacent to real property with street addresses of 2339, 2359, 2342 and 2358 Margaret Street as well as 2343 and 2361 10th Street; all as is more particularly described herein; providing for severability of the parts hereof, etc. (Title Only)(Application No. 19-SV-03, Applicant: John Vermeren, as owner of adjacent property and agent for adjacent property owners)

IX.4) Adoption Re: Second Reading of Proposed Ordinance No. 21-5369, amending the Zoning Code (2002 Edition) of the City of Sarasota to incorporate recommendations of the Tree Advisory Committee and City staff as more fully specified herein, including: decreasing size of required replacement trees; changing the methodology for determining required mitigation; allowing residential property owners to remove trees for re-landscaping; creating site evaluation and species selection criteria for replacement trees; creating a category of trees called Recommended Trees; creating a category of Undesirable Trees and discouraging the planting of such trees and encouraging the removal of such trees; amending Definition of Grand Tree; creating a Definition of Canopy Tree; creating Canopy Road Recognition Program; amending Statement of Purpose for Tree Protection; allowing variances for tree preservation as more fully specified herein; amending landscaping division to resolve conflicts; providing for severability, etc. (Title Only)
